Product Review
This was the first shoe I got when I started climbing again. They edged ok out of the box and provide great smearing/slab contact. They are really nice for beginners because they get you into the sport with a suitable decent shoe. I got 1/2 size below my street size and they have been fine.
I have resoled them twice with the same c4 rubber. Resole early so your shoes will last! After each resole they are good for edging for about 10 pitches.
This show is now my dedicated slab shoe. I have climbed 5.8 slab in them and they can climb better. For vertical face and cracks I prefer the TC Pro; they edge way better and handle cracks like machines.
For a beginner buy this shoe; it will serve you well and you get cool looking red feet too!
I have had my 5.10 Coyote's for several years now and have had a great experience with them. I wear a size 8.5 or 9 street shoe and got these in an 8.5 and they fit perfectly at first......
