I fell in love with these shoes the moment they kissed my feet; however, after two weeks of normal wear the metal strap attachment broke. I sadly returned them and have been reticent to purchase another pair worring that there might be a design flaw.

My husband bought these shoes for me. I was looking for a barefoot experience, but with a dressy twist. They arrived fairly quickly and I was excited to try them out. The construction was high quality, and they look really cute on. The sole is thick enough to protect your feet, but thin enough to allow you to have that great barefoot feeling. My toes had a ton of room and the strap held the shoe in place well, and was easy to attach/detach. But I had an issue with the back of the shoes rubbing against the back of my foot - between my ankle and heal. First off, i've reviewed other New Balance basketball sneakers here before, so am familiar with the brand. I was originally looking to buy the BB889 but as usual NB no longer makes them and they are sold out everywhere (in my size). I have wide feet, and their are few sneaker brands that work around that. NB is one of them. When I browsed NB's website I was turned off by the appearance of these BBall shoes. They just looked plain ugly. With little options out there, I decided I'll used them for function and disregard looks, so I ordered the black on blacks. To my surprise, they actually looked great. The lettering and stripes are a bold metallic silver that really stands on the black. I recall thinking, wow I might actually have descent bball kicks here. I'm an 11.5 2E, but given my experience with past NB BBall sneakers, I ordered a half size larger 12 2E (you should do the same). I play 2 x week in an indoor court. Here are the pros:

I bought this shoe because I have had many pairs of K-Swiss and like them. I do have one issue with this particular style. The part of the shoe that comes up by the tongue where the shoe strings lace rubs against the inside of my foot and makes it painful after running around. That area is just a little too high.

These tennis shoes are the most stylish and comfortable of that I have ever worn! They fit a little small, so you probably should order a size 1/2 larger than you usually wear. But your feet will love you when you put them on. I cannot imagine a cooler pair of tennis shoes. I LOVE THEM!!

Here is another K-Swiss shoe with short shoelaces. These shoes are kind of hard and sturdy. I wear them post-foot surgery, to work and not for athletic purposes.

These shoes are my second in their line of trail runners. They have been great during the snow and muddy seasons running coupled with stabilizers. Easy to slip on and off, comfortable and they have good traction. My only one complaint is that during the run, the lacing system becomes loose on its own and requires tightening to remain snugly supportive.

No doubt about it Salomon makes a great shoe. No break-in time needed, comfortable right out of the box. First time out, went about 6 miles in 80 degree weather--No sore spots or rub areas. Good support and good tread on bottoms. They definately run about a half size big. Most shoes I wear a 9, so that is what I ordered and they are a little big--I think and 8.5 would have been fine. So if I wear them with my custom orthotics (they take up a little extra room) they feel fine--a little roomy but that's okay especially in warmer weather. Also love the color and the style. ......

Great for Jazzercise! I always order up a 1/2 size, as per recommendation of shoe guy, who says feet swell when working out or on all day...and has made a difference for me!

Top comfort and maximum support for someone who has flat feet like me! Perfect for any kinds of activities indoors or outdoors.

I had previously owned the Gel-170, and the Gel-180s were to replace that pair. I don't run, but I have very wide feet (EE). I like to be able to wear supportive shoes while running after the kids. I also needed a new pair of shoes immediately to help with a broken foot recovery.

The shoes do not run as wide as my previous pair. While they are breaking in, I am wearing stockings with them; not socks. I couldn't deal with the pressure on the broken bone caused by wearing a sock. Otherwise, they are as good as my previous shoes from ASICS.

I was looking for a really great tennis shoe with excellent side to side stability for quick lateral agility and this is it! Cushioning is great, support is great, and the shoe material is very sturdy (Rhino Skin) so should hold up to tons of playtime!

I am a 7.5B but first bought a size 8 as several reviews said the shoe runs small. I ended up returning the 8 for my 7.5 which fits like a dream. I found the sizing absolutely perfect! 7.5B was a truly 7.5B
